We started barbecuing in 2008, using the "Low & Slow" smoking style and then soon after we developed our signature sauce.
Over the next couple of years, friends & family requested our food & sauce, and kept encouraging us to open a business to supply the BBQ they had come to know and love to the rest of the world.
In 2011 we took their advice and started "82's BBQ". Since then we have taken great pride in offering a meal cooked for hours using a hardwood fire. Using this style of cooking provides a top quality flavor that is unmatched using charcoal alone.
The name "82's BBQ" started as a coincidence. While working as a Paramedic, we had to label our food while it was in the refrigerator, my employee number was 82. So when I labeled my BBQ sauce bottle, it said "82's BBQ". For some reason it stuck and everyone began asking for it by that name!
